As R&B crooner Marques Houston drops his third solo album, Veteran, today (March 20), he hopes to solidify his place among the soul singing set. And just in case the racy "Naked" video from his last album, also titled Naked, didn't say it loud enough, the former child actor and Immature star is also ready for his audience to know Marques Houston the man.

While R&B as of late has been dominated by newcomers like Ne-Yo and Chris Brown, Houston is secure in his own place in the music industry.

"I wouldn't even compare myself to the rookies coming up," Houston told SOHH. "I'm in my own lane, everybody knows me for what I do in the music game, what MH puts out, and they love me for the music that I do. I think Chris Brown is a really talented little kid and he's a great performer, great guy, really humble nice kid. I think there's a new generation coming up and it's great, but as for me, I think being a veteran sets me apart from everyone else."

On Veteran, Houston delivers his more mature sound with the help of songwriters and producers including Bryan Michael Cox, who produced MH's current single "Circle," as well as Ne-Yo, Tank, Rufus Blaq and The Underdogs, who also collaborated with Houston on Naked. Shawnna, Mya and Yung Joc also make guest appearances on the album.

"Our chemisty is so great," Marques said, of his decision to reunite with The Underdogs on Veteran. "I've been working with The Underdogs for years now, they did a lot of stuff on the last album, coming up with the whole style for MH. They know me, they know where I want to go musically, every artist has that relationship with that producer. Usher has JD, Michael [Jackson] and Quincy [Jones], the relationship with Justin [Timberlake] and Timbaland, I think The Underdogs really know my style like that."

Houston also says that Veteran will give fans further insight into his romantic side.

"A lot of people don't understand I'm a helpless romantic," Houston told SOHH. "I like everything to be like those romantic comedies, I like to make that real life. I like to be in relationships with that one person, I don't cheat. I've never cheated, ever in my life. I'm really into the old-fashioned part of the relationship, just you and that one person making that beautiful chemistry together. Being in love, little personal things like that, is what you get with this album."

Speaking of love, Houston admits there is a special lady in his life putting "a smile on his face" and that the song "Kimberly" was inspired by her.

"The song was written pretty much for my girlfriend, but the thing behind 'Kimberly' is that every woman has [a] 'Kimberly' [side]. It's that freaky side, the woman that is so shy and softspoken, I'm pretty sure she has a 'Kimberly' side in the bedroom," Houston explained.

While Houston remained tightlipped about the identity of his current love, he didn't deny a special relationship with Kim Kardashian, spokesmodel for Christopher Brian, the clothing line released by Houston's manager Chris Stokes.

"Kim is my girl. That's my homegirl. We're doing a lot of business together. We are just friends, we are good friends," he said.

Marques Houston's latest album, Veteran, arrives in stores today (March 20), via T.U.G./Universal Motown Records.

So right before Tiny is about to pop out T.I.'s 5th child (a baby girl)...T.I. claims they've chunked the duece on their relationship and engagement. Grammy award winning songwriter and producer Dallas Austin (Chilli from TLC ex-hubby/ baby daddy) is the subject of an explosive video interview where he accuses Christina Aguilera and British soul singer Joss Stone of providing sexual favors in exchange for production work on their CDs.

"Christina Aguilera, Joss Stone... all these bitches be fuckin' for tracks," Austin says in the video. "You go in the studio with the regular girls like Ciara and them, they just want to get their work done. F*ck all these bitches f*ckin' for tracks." [Watch Here]

In the video, Austin further explains in explicit detail the accounts of Aguilera having sex with both him and his best friend.

Austin, who has penned and produced award-winning songs for TLC, Madonna, Monica, Kelis, Gwen Stefani and Janet Jackson, among others, is responding to articles appearing on the internet where Stone's relationship with collaborator, Raphael Saadiq, became a public affair.

As previously reported by SOHH, Stone teamed with Saadiq as the main collaborator on her forthcoming CD Introducing Joss Stone due out March 20 via Virgin Records.

Can we say "You Wouldn't Get Far"........... They don't even have to call out all the hoes like that.

Samantha, a sales associate from Pinson, Ala., was the second girl eliminated during the eighth cycle of The CW's hit reality series "America's Next Top Model," reducing the pool from 12 girls to 11.

Greeted by Miss J and a high school marching band, the girls were divided into teams and taught a runway walking routine based on timing and precision. While they were practicing their moves, they were saved by the school bell and introduced to fashion show producer Roy Campbell, who informed them that they would be competing in a prom runway fashion show. They showed off their new walking routine while modeling gowns from three categories, including modern contemporary, the '80s and ghetto fabulous for the high school student body. During the runway show, Roy noted that Samantha had great attributes, but needed to have more attitude on the runway and lacked the hip-hop swagger that was needed during one of the runway passes.

The next day, the girls returned to high school, where Jay Manuel assigned each of them a different high school clichÃ©. While several of the girls excelled during their photo shoots, Samantha struggled to portray the "girl with a bad reputation." "I wasn't very excited because that wasn't me in high school and it's still not me," Samantha said.

During the judging, Tyra expressed her concern about Samantha's lack of confidence and comfort level. "I saw your film and you did some more sexy stuff; you just seem so unsure." The judges all noticed Samantha's lack of personality, noting that while she had potential, she needed more time to develop. "You take beautiful pictures, but a lot of the judges look at you and say, she seems 15, maybe in three years she'll be ready," Tyra said to Samantha, before eliminating her from the race to become "America's Next Top Model."
