Busta Rhymes the new Mr. T?

Busta Rhymes showed up to Mr. Chow in Beverly Hills Tuesday night sporting some serious bling. A nervous Busta was swarmed by paparazzi as he exited his car, and could be heard telling the photographers "Do you know who I am? You're taking pictures of me without asking. Turn your camera off." Maybe he was nervous because, according to a source, Busta said that he was rocking $5 million in jewelry that night.
The rapper uses a bodyguard to look after his jewelry in public. Tragically one of these individuals was killed when a heated exchange turned into gunfire at a video shoot, resulting in the death of the rapper's friend and bodyguard.

Lil’ Kim will be able to attend BBQ’s, eat chicken, and watch the fire works this July 4th as they have decided to cut her jail time short. Kimberly Jones aka LIl’ Kim will be released from the Philadelphia Federal Detention Center Monday morning and will remain under house arrest for the following 30 days. No word yet on what her next moves will be. But what we want to know is what will she be wearing when she leaves the prison? Will she create a new fashion trend like Martha did when she left the prison?

Rapper Khia Say "F*ck you" to Janet Jackson...

So why is she dissing Janet?

Now supposedly Khia is bad mouthing Janet because she believes that she has been dropped from Janet’s second single, “So Excited”.Source {greasyguide}

Janet’s man, Jermaine Dupri, made an official statement:
Contrary to what has been reported, Khia WILL be featured on the new Janet Jackson album. I can verify that the song, “So Excited,” which features Khia, is in the process of being mixed and will appear on Janet’s highly anticipated release, 20 Years Old, when it hits stores on September 26th.

Todays latest tip is about this new chick named Shakti. Now if your in to Bollywood then her sound and look might be familure to you. While Ms. Aishwarya Rai isn’t turning to many heads in the U.S. right now Shakti is ready to mix her fusion of r&b, pop, and Hip-Hop into mainstream america.

Motown (Detroit) has added Shakti to its prestigious list of renowned musicians. Shakti was born and raised in America to parents of Indian decent. Starting with Sapthaswaram, sa, ri, ga, ma, pa, dha, ni, sa (Indian solfege) at the age of seven, she learned Carnatic music, South Indian style, from her grandmother (who also appears on album). Shakti began piano lessons at the tender age eight, she formally studied western classical voice eventually opera and at twelve she began studying jazz and contemporary singing styles. Shakti pursued her formal education at the esteemed Berklee College of Music; she obtained her Bachelor of Music Degree and went on with scholarship to The Chicago Musical College for a Masters in Music Degree. Shakti also pursued various dance styles like Bharthanatyam (Classical Indian dance), Hip-Hop and Belly Dance at the Egyptian Academy of Oriental Dance. It became quite evident to her early on that her call is to bridge East and West through music. Shakti vocally expresses herself as an urban pop songstress and draws from her rich ethnic heritage with extreme fluidity. Shakti says It wasnt always so cool being different, the ethnic thing wasnt in, I know times have changed, but its not about a trend to me; its who I am.

For those of you that missed the performances last night. Here is a recap of what you missed. I am pissed off number one because I have Directv, for any of you that have Directv you know they are funtion on east cost time. So my BET awards came on at 5pm for real live oppose to the broadcasted time of 8pm in LA. So anyway, I'm mad about it. By the time I got home from work, it was damn near 6:30 and the show was nearly over. The flip side to it tho is,thank's to the fabulous internet. I was able to get all the pictures before the show even aired in LA.

"After Jamie Foxx's actions during last night's BET Awards, people were left wondering whether there's trouble between the Oscar winning actor and Kanye West. MediaTakeOut.com has uncovered that the two artists have been feuding for months.

The feud started earlier this year when, while the two were rehearsing their Grammy performance, West reportedly told the multi-platinum selling Foxx to "stand back and watch a real star perform." The usually calm Foxx flew into a rage and stormed out of the rehearsal. Jamie was later overheard telling his publicist, "does this n***a know who I am? Did he see the Academy Awards?"

During last night's BET Awards, the animosity between the two superstars was noticeable. When the pair won the award for Best Duet/Collaboration, Kanye West tried to ease the tension by profusely thanking Foxx for the collaboration.

But Jamie Foxx wasn't ready to make peace. While West was giving his acceptance speech, Jamie Foxx stood behind him making faces and, at one point, held a portable fan behind Kanye's head (see the below photos). When it was Foxx's turn on the mic he simply shouted "Three-six mafia, I'll see you baby." Three-six Mafia won an Oscar earlier this year for the soundtrack to the movie Hustle and Flow.

MediaTakeOut.com managed to catch up with Jamie Foxx late last night at a Los Angeles hot spot. When asked why he held up a fan behind Kanye West, Jamie responded, "someone had to cool that n***a off."
